Established less than five years ago, Steak Express is a fun little restaurant located right on Ninth East in Provo. No meal there is complete without their fries. I've never had fries seasoned quite like they do here. And the texture is amazing--the perfect balance between a soft center and a crunchy exterior.
Super Chix is Chick-fil-A 2.0. They have two locations around Provo in Spanish Fork and American Fork. A large fry is enough to feed a small family, almost taking up an entire tray all on its own. What really makes these fries amazing is Super Chix's sauce collection. With 8 different options, it's a good thing they give you so many fries!
Originally selling only hot dogs, JDawgs' recent entry into the world of fries has been well-received. These fries are thick and crunchy, with a perfect combination of spices on top. Even if you're not in the mood for a great hot dog, this place is worth the trip for the fries alone.
This place was an experience. Located above an axe throwing company, this cowboy-themed restaurant has some amazing specialty burgers and delicious fries. At each table they have 4 different seasonings for you to try on the fries. Each plate of fries is served with a sweet and savory house sauce on the side that I could drink. Make sure you go early, because when I left there was a line out the door waiting to be seated.
I could eat their loaded fries every day for the rest of my life. I'm not sure what else to say to convince you to go to this place. Bumblebee's is a Korean fusion restaurant that excels in very Americanized Korean food. I love the Kpop fries with beef bulgogi.
Kolaches are a type of Czech pastry. They come filled with lots of different things, and Hruska's gives you tons of delicious filling options. There is almost always people in line outside the door waiting to get their hands on this stuff.
You wouldn't think that a hot dog place would make the list, but a JDawg is no ordinary dog. These footlong hot dogs are the best you can get, and their special sauce is to die for. They made both this list and the french fry list, so you definitely have to give them a try.
Although now they have over 50 locations, this Korean fast food chain originated right here in Utah. My favorite is the Toc Bop, a fried chicken dish served with rice, noodles, cabbage, and their special sauce ranging from 1-10 in spicyness. I'm a wimp, so I usually just get the 3.
A great BBQ joint. I really love the pulled pork sandwich with pineapple on it. The loaded mac & cheese is also a classic.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had I tried here. They have lots of unique flavors at Itto, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays they have some delicious half-price rolls. Good even for full price though.
I always try something new every time I go here. SLAB specializes in specialty pizza. With dozens of options, you'll never run out of things to try here.
